Lift Station - Royal Commission Yanbu

Description
      • Design of the Lift Station
      • The lift station designed and sized to accommodate transfer the ultimate peak sewer flows from Community 2, seven (7) phases plus the flows coming from SW-25 which is in Community 1 to the existing SWTP. Total peak demand flow = 8,388.11 m
      • Hydraulic Analysis
      • Performed Hydraulic analysis from the lift station up to SWTP-2 around 25 km using AFT Fathom software. The size and capacity of the sewer pumps and pipes are determined using the analysis.
      • Surge Analysis
      • Performed transient analysis for the sewer system using Bentley Hammer software. Hydraulic transient analysis is performed using the above software to simulate the surge condition for different scenarios:
      • 1. Sudden Pump Start
        2. Sudden Pump Trip or Pump power failure
        3. Sudden Valve closure when pump in normal operation
        4. Different positions of valves
